Meg Whitman

Wow. Been a very interesting few weeks. I have been posting a lot more on political message boards as well as Facebook and Twitter. But I am still amazed to see the Internet grow with more places than ever to express your freedom of speech or just vent a little political steam. My biggest political gripe right now.......Meg Whitman.

I have never been impressed with Meg Whitman. Specifically I see nothing innovative or special about her rise to wealth. In fact much of what I have discovered has made me more than a little uncomfortable. Not just the obsessive amounts of money being thrown at her on campaign (something I liken to her throwing cash at her own portrait.LOL!), something never seen before. She has announced her plan to spend up to 150 million dollars on her campaign......and no one blinked.....coughed, or even objected. It's perfectly legal.....but is it morally right? A question I would continue to ask about Meg Whitman the more I looked into to who she is.

First off....I discovered something that may already be obvious to her biographers, supporters and many journalists.......the varied amount of books written about, or mentioning her.....are all finance and management books. While this may be an excellent way to know about her tactics and past buyouts and executive moves...it provides next to nothing about here political ideology. What little you find is from the 2008 campaign of....John McCain and Sarah Palin. Wonderful.

I began to look at her website due to a volunteer who left an untitled link to how Meg was being treated unfairly by the Media. I HAD TO SEE THIS! Having helped promote a protest against media biased against Hillary Clinton I wanted to see for myself what the media was saying about her. I clicked the link and was taken to the Meg Whitman 2010 website. A page about the media's unfair treatment came up with a single video and links to further watching. However, what the title called and what the video showed and summarized ......was Meg Whitman refusing to answer questions from the media with text stating the media knew they were....and this part I quote, "Forbidden" to ask questions. Bwahahahahahahahahaha! Seriously! THAT IS WHAT IT SAID!

So I have joined the Facebook page Queen Meg (http://www.facebook.com/QueenMeg2010?ref=ts) and started my own mini $0 campaign against Meg Whitman. I am using Youtube, Facebook, Twitter and a number of various other places including here. I will begin picking up my blog again and maybe have a purpose that's more than just incoherent ramblings with no direction. Now my incoherent ramblings will have a direction!
